An open source, light-weight, Nagios compatible monitoring agent that is written in Go and easy to build and compile on any system.
ReChecked provides binaries and repos for popular linux distributions, Windows, and Mac.
Like other similar agents, basic system status and details about the system’s network, services, disks, CPU, and other information is available out of the box with no extra setup required.
You can run any plugins using ReChecked either actively or passively. Since it’s compatible with all Nagios-style plugins, it’s easy to set up with existing plugins that you currently use.
We use YAML config files to tell rcagent what to do. Creating and editing the configuration is easy, passive check declarations, passive senders, and general configuration are all in YAML.
The viewer is a hosted frontend for rcagent (you can build it and host it yourself locally if you want) that allows you to connect to rcagent. You can use ReChecked Viewer if you don’t want to use the manager.
The viewer is an open source project, so if you have any issues or would like to contribute please post on the GitHub issues.
