Official Repositories
We recommend using repositories if you are using a supported OS.
For Linux distros such as CentOS/RHEL (Alma, Amazon, Oracle, Cloud, etc) and Debian and Ubuntu systems you can install rcagent using our official repositories.
Don't see your OS?
You can also build and install rcagent from source if needed. Clone the repo from GitHub and then follow the steps in the readme.
Note: More operating systems are coming. We are working on building on other systems but may not have access to all of them right away. Please contact us on GitHub if you’d like to help.
Integrations
Plugin
Using rcagent for passive checks requires using a plugin. We have created a check_rcagent.py script that allows you to run checks from the command line. You do not need to install this if you are using the Nagios XI Config Wizard.
Config Wizard
You can add the ReChecked Agent Config Wizard into your Nagios XI system to easily integrate the rcagent into your environment. The wizard is interactive and will grab initial information and set defaults for you.
